About CohenMiller Design
CohenMiller Design is a two person freelance design studio in San Antonio, Texas.
United by Doug’s design experience, and Anna’s fine art and language background, we aim to provide thoughtful and effective solutions to the problems inherent in communication. We ask a lot of questions. We dig through the available resources, and study the landscape in order to provide what we think are the best answers and the most effective presentations.
Anna CohenMiller
Anna has a background in linguistics, anthropology and multi-disciplinary studies. Regularly Anna speaks at applied anthropology conferences and at foreign language teachers conferences. Anna has been involved in art since she was old enough to hold a paint brush. She brings creative ideas and unconventional methods to the table. For more information see her personal site.
Doug CohenMiller
Doug has studied culinary arts, graphic design and illustration as well as history and political economics. His life in design began in 1997 while working as a deckhand on the Schooner Ernestina, the official tall-ship of Massachusetts. He was asked assist the organization in developing the first “digital” template for the organization’s newsletter. Since then he has been in love with design, type, imagery and even the tools of the trade.
